Freshwater Charch is a business started by Robert J. Jess. He has done construction work for several years in the Charlevoix area. Around 2006/2007 the construction industry in Charlevoix took a hit and Robert returned to school earning an Associates of Arts degree from North Central Michigan College in 2008, then moving on to Detroit earning a Masters of Architecture degree from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2012, where he graduated with honors.

The goal at Freshwater Charch is to make every client’s project better than they thought it could or would be by offering fresh, creative ideas and solutions to the project.

The reason for this business is to provide the client with a single source to deal with for their projects. We can handle designing and building, which helps to ensure it is done right the first time.

Robert is a licensed builder, an Associate member of the American Institute of Architects, and a member of NCARB.
