The hidden retreat project was a challenge to minimally disturb the surrounding land because this property is in a land conservancy agreement with Little Traverse Conservancy.

We met with the LTC multiple times on the property to determine the best approach for site design.

Our client was more than happy with the result and we acheived the goal of preserving the surrounding natural space around the retreat while adding walking trails within the Little Traverse Conservancy’s parameters.
